If you find yourself in a difficult financial situation or have a limited income, please don’t hesitate to inform me. We are committed to finding a more suitable rate for you. Additionally, I am available to conduct remote counselling sessions via video or telephone.
Counselling Fees - Online or Face to Face
Payment
- My standard counselling rate, a hour-long therapy session is 50 minutes total.
- Fees are the same for both in-person and online video counselling sessions.
- Please feel free to discuss any financial concerns with me as concessions can be negotiated in certain circumstances.
Payment Method
Payment is easiest and simplest by bank transfer, made each week 12 hours in advance of your session. Payment for your initial appointment is made online via bank transfer. We do not have a facility to take credit/debit cards. All necessary bank details are provided to you when an appointment is reserved.
For in-person sessions, you can also pay by cash or cheque at the beginning of the session. For international clients, I accept payment by IBAN or PayPal.
How Long Does a Session Last?
A Standard Therapy/Coaching Session lasts 50 minutes – you can do a one off, weekly, fortnightly, twice weekly or ad hoc depending on what works best for you.
Double Sessions are available and last 1 hour and 50 minutes. Some people really like these, when they want to cover a number of areas and get more done in a shorter space of time.

I offer a free initial consultation via telephone. If you decide to proceed with therapy, sessions are on a weekly basis and priced at £40 p/h. Payments can be made in block payments, payable in advance or before each online session.

My counselling availability is designed to meet the needs of my clients. If the hours I offer do not fit your schedule, let me know – I may be able to make adjustments.
The practice even online counselling is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 8pm, Saturday from 9am to 1pm, and Sunday from 9am to 12 Noon.

If after our initial session you would like to pay for a block of 6 or more sessions you can do so. Just let me know and I will send you the bank details.
All missed and cancelled sessions are chargeable. For counselling to work best and produces long-lasting results, appointments need to be regular and consistent. you will be provided with a written copy of the Acorn Therapy cancellation policy at the time of booking.
