About Counselling in Taunton Somerset UK, Professional Therapy in Taunton

Counsellors are human and I am no exception – I have daily struggles just like anyone else.
I have had my own fair share of challenges in life, from a tough, poor childhood in Uganda with an alcoholic father, growing up as a rebellious teenager, to broken relationships and the daily struggles of our contemporary existence, but I don’t blame what I have gone through: the struggle made me weaker and vulnerable when I wanted to be strong and competent but that road lead me here.

Caring and supporting people has been my passion for long time and through my different job roles as a teacher, youth worker, support worker, enabler and charity worker, I have had the opportunity to work with children, young people and adults on a one to one basis and in groups. Using different processes to reach out to people is at times challenging; however, achieving positive outcomes is very rewarding. I consider it a privilege when a person opens up to me and trust is built between us.
After suffering a series of personal challenges, I was looking for a new path and change in career: I decided I needed to go to university to study counselling. I am now a professionally trained and qualified counsellor based in Taunton- Somerset, I work with Individuals, Teenagers, Adults, as well as Groups to explore a wide range of concerns and struggles. I offer short and long-term counselling and support. Contact me today for professional counselling in Taunton Somerset UK.
